The core meaning is opposing the worldwide trafficking and exploitation of women. A powerful fundraising campaign, aligned with International Justice Mission, a human rights organization that works to rescue victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression.
Why should you care?… well I’m glad you asked. It’s to support and be part of a powerful movement to abolish modern day slavery! The heart of Dressember is “freedom, that every women has the right to live a vibrant and autonomous life”.
